AMES (Answering
and Messaging System) is a complete and easy-to-use messaging system available
to you 24 hours a day from any touch-tone telephone. This system combines the
communications advantages of an answering machine, conference room, and secretary
receptionist, into one powerful tool.
|
|
AMES has been
administered to answer your telephone calls automatically after a predetermined
number of rings. AMES will use a standard system greeting to answer your
call, unless you record your own personal greetings. When you have voice mail
messages, the message-waiting lamp on your telephone will light, or if you do
not have a message-waiting lamp you will hear an intermittent dialtone for two
seconds followed by a steady dial tone upon lifting your telephone receiver.
